My current checklist
Today I was facilitating two teams in their Sprint Planning and this is my current checklist I’m using to facilitate the planning session:
(1) Check availability of team members to see if team has “normal capacity” or if we are in holiday session.
(2) Check Team Metrics e. g. Velocity average of last 5 sprints to
make use of high performance team patterns like yesterdays weather
(3) What – What are team members pulling from the Product Backlog into their Sprint backlog
(4) Why – Why are you doing this sprint, create sprint goal
(5) How – How are we moving the User Stories into done, creating tasks for each user story
