» Great For Teachers in Challenging Schools – Sometimes it’s easy to forget the pupils who come in day in day out and conduct themselves in the most mature fashion. They must be praised and held up as examples. More tricky pupils must also be caught and praised when behaving appropriately, but must not receive equal amounts of praise for being good for a limited amount of time as the ones who do it regularly. Therefore, I‘ve bought mini praise notes. This is so that my postcards home are reserved for sustained exemplary behaviour, but I still have a little token (call it a ¼ of a postcard) for instant recognition of a ‘good day’ if you like. «
